Cy Townsend received national notoriety after appearing on BET'S "Oh Drama," and two landmark shows for Ricki Lake. Ms. Townsend currently has two movie projects in development, a book deal and a speaking tour.

Her words "Living Loudly" made her an overnight celebrity and role model. Her goal is to educate those who do not understand the diversity within the lesbian community and giving exposure to the subculture: studs.

Townsend's website, www.Chicagostuds.com, was developed as a resource for teens in crisis. She has developed relationships with outreach organizations, such as Horizons Community Services in Chicago to address the concerns and solutions with youth that "come out" and lose the support from family and friends.

The ultimate goal for Ms. Townsend is to build a home for these and many other Teens in crisis. Providing counseling, job training and a safe haven for them. Offering them with a nurturing environment as they learn to cope and understand their sexuality, choices and the lifestyle.
